Alliance Member Services

The main aim of Alliance 4 the Black Country is to support its members by encouraging long-term relationships and collaboration within the professional sectors of the Black Country.

By running events based on Continual Professional Development, providing educational seminars and by raising the awareness of skills development opportunities, the Alliance can assist individuals within a business by providing a learning environment and the toolkit needed to market and practice successfully. The programme will also help individuals to keep abreast of current business issues.

The number of professional companies setting up in the Black Country grows every year and the Alliance is playing a key role in ensuring they have a voice and a high profile.

To be eligible to join Alliance 4 the Black Country the company or members of the company must be professionally regulated or committed to skills development and regulation within their field. To be a full member, the company must have an office within the Black Country paying their business rates to Walsall, Wolverhampton, Sandwell or Dudley. Professional firms from outside of the Black Country are invited to join as Alliance Affiliate members.

Alliance member Services include:

  • The Alliance is structured so that its members have the opportunity to become one of three working groups. The working groups focus on membership strategy and collaboration, skills and Black Country profile. Involvement within a working group can help to enhance an individual's personal profile among fellow members of the group and the Alliance. In turn the working groups help to shape the Alliance and ensure that it is working effectively and is of benefit to members
  • Networking sessions and seminars across the region
  • Access to member only offers, services and discounts - including an online directory and resource library
  • Policy and lobbying at a local and national Government level
